I received a very nice phone call about 20 minutes ago or so from a representative of Verizon Wireless.

This came as a result of my email to them using the online form via the website, not the "voice of the customer" tool.

I was assured that the matter would be handled accordingly with the tech support person I spoke with, and whom spoke so inappropriately to me. I was also offered a very fair credit to my account, which was unexpected.

I am grateful that this matter is closed.

I am also very thankful to those people who reached out to answer my direct question, offered constructive advice, and whom were so understanding of my feelings on this matter.

I'm glad the matter was resolved in a courteous manner. Thank you for the info. I will keep that in mind if I ever have as horrible experience as you did (6 years using VZW not 1 bad experience yet 😁 )

Wow, seeing as how you responded to my recommendation of submitting feedback through the Web site on "Jun 10, 2008, 2:23 PM" and posted this not even two hours later...man, I knew that they'd look at it, but I'm surprised by how quickly it happened. I'm glad that you were able to get it worked out.

All the more reason for us to push those self-serve options. They do get the job done. 😛

I am glad to hear you got this resolved. I think that got everyone's blood pumping was how your sounded in your first post. I think you really let your emotions run the post and on here you should be careful

I am glad you got it taken care of. Remember just because there is one bad egg that does not mean you should run and flee as fast as you can. If you follow the right channels to file a complaint everything will work out as you saw.

I know you know VZW is a wonderful company and if you have gone 8 years with great service I would ask that you take a minute to remember this next time something happens and you go off saying your going to pay ETF Fee's which fo more than one phone could be $500 plus new lines with new contracts and cra...

Well some of the people on phonescoop are very mean, so what did you expect? I get mean responses to my posts almost everyday yet nothing I say warrants such nasty responses.

Just ignore those who are mean-spirited, it is just solid proof that they are unhappy in their lives so being mean to others in the forums gives them an outlet. It is sad. I pray for them.

Please remember this forum is really for direct questions that require an answer. If people rant and rave and write 1000 word post and 20 words is the question no wonder people are nasty. They don't wanna read rants they are here to fix problems and get answers to questions. If im wrong then im wrong but just ranting and raving over one rep out of 62,000 is crazy and if they wanna spend $500 to leave over 1 rep then so be it. In my option on this person just needs a life or calm down. Im sure they are a great person but come on there a point to posting.

glad ir all got resolved for you. keep in mind that individuals shouldnt make up how you look at the company as a whole as hard as that sounds there will always be someone that will go the extra mile for you. once again glad it all worked out for you hope your experiences with vzw get even better
