Does anyone know if there is anything in the works for Verizon customer data plans. They are so high, comparing it to the everything for $99 for sprint.

How is that good. Look at what you get at At&T and Sprint. You get GPS and TV and unlimted voice, email, and messaging for around $99.

If you think its so good....GO TO SPRINT! Verizon has no plans in the works to lower their data. And their data is priced about the same as att.

Sprints plan is great...but I'm personally just not a fan of the way they are doing business right now

AT&T gives you GPS an TV? Did not know that. If it's true, I say good for them. Years ago, I started service with Sprint (they were the only choice in my area) then moved over to BellSouth Mob (Cingular/ATT) service on both were so so. I moved to Verizon and I have not had any problems. I know everyones experience is different and that is why we need to have choices. So, I love Verizon, you may love Sprint, T-Mob or AT&T. That's cool. It is up to you to decide what works best for you. For me, I will stay with VZW. 😉

Are you suggesting that verizon is more reliable than ATT, T-Mobile, and Sprint?

check consumer reports, they do a study every year testing about 20 metro areas for signal strength and call quality.

Verizon dominates this study every year, and has won numerous awards for their customer service.

You had verizon, dont try to act like I'm making stuff up here. You know its a good company.

🤣 🤣 Oh consumer reports is your evidence! Tmobile and Altell rank right besides them to, yet ATT still gets slammed for static yet they signed up millions of morons..go figure! Quest does really well to, but Sprint gets slammed and it's the same network! JD Powers recently rated Sprint's network as crap while ranking virgin mobile tops in their category....and Virgin uses Sprint's network! Point is advertising and bad reputation plays a lot into consumer reports!

check your statistics....you only need 30 random people to generalize to a group of people. 26000 people is more than enough to get an accurate.

they could do a million people and the results would be exactly the same.

ok...now im out.

What reliability??

VZW currently has the smallest coverage area nationwide.

I don't see how someone who covers so little can truly be "reliable."

Of course, you seem willing to believe the hype and not dive for the truth...so I can spoon feed it to you-or let you find it on Drako's Wireless Review. (Which is a fact based site.)

Here in Bellevue, WA-right next to the VZW campus there is not only no coverage for VZW-its so non-existant that coverage data goes into negative numbers. They have to break their own rules and put a repeater inside the building to offer their employees coverage-using the internet connection wired into the building.

The Crossroads Circuit City used to have to do the same thing, but complained enough-a...

Anyways OP the way it's explained to me is that Verizon customers enjoy spending more for less because they're better than everyone else.

Please don't generalize as to why people choose Verizon over others. My choice came from the fact that my whole family is Verizon and is makes sense for me to be a Verizon customer as well. However, I do agree the data plans are overpriced and service is spotty. For a year I have paid for the 10 MD of data on my Treo, but seldom connected because I couldn't connect all that often. I am going back to a regular phone without a data plan.
