first off, i know that i am being too impatient, but i must make a rant. i preordered a voyager which may or may not be available to ship out tomorrow. if it does, i am told that i would not receive it until next week due to the holidays. i was also informed that the official stores will only receive around 5 phones per store (i played with it at circuit city. the official stores would not show me one, it was under lock and key). so my rant is this, why didn't the vz marketing exec's launch this phone out yesterday, monday? first off, the preorders would be shipped and possibly received tomorrow wednesday BEFORE the holidays. what a great marketing feat this would have been. to brag and show off this phone to friends and family and possibly to be seen on black friday by the general public. in addition, why launch a phone with only 5 per store and further pi_s off the public by having only 5 phones per store? again, this is a great phone on a great network, but come on, it is not exactly a ipod phone. rather you all would admit it or not. yes, i know the ipod phone sucks, but as you would agree, it is not 'exactly' the phone, it is the lousy att network. enough of my rant. again, i feel that this phone could have been better marketed by word of mouth and shown by one in hand over the thanksgiving holiday. ....ok, vzw reps, i am ready to be slammed with your youthful defensive responses.
