Phone with best reception
I currently have LG 8600 after previously having a Motorola e815, and I must say that the reception sucks.
What phone does Verizon currently have that has the best reception? I'm tired of people telling me they called me when I have no missed calls.
Thanks.

I've used the E815, the LG8600, and currently the KRZR. I've found that the Motorolas in general get better reception. The KRZR is the best so far; I can get service in areas of Chicago that I could not get a good signal on with the LG8600. I've brought both phone to the same location at the same time; the LG would show no signal; the Krzr would show 1 bar, and I could make the call without static or the call being dropped. The E815 is also a wonderful phone for reception; I gave it to a friend after I changed phones, and he loves it.
With my KRZR, I can get good reception in elevators, restrooms, and basements.
Just my experience.

I have had the same experience, on Verizon we have or have had a number of LG, Samsung and Motorola phones and the Motorolas in general have better reception. In was in a local grocery store where the middle of the store is a difficult spot. I was able to connect with my Q while a guy next to me couldn't connect with his 8300.

But Motorolas are notoriously handicapped with Verizon, correct?
It would appear that I'm in a catch-22.

It's not that they're notoriously handicapped with Verizon (this is most phones, not just Motorolas), it's that Motorola has a hard time making a phone for Verizon that functions in every way that it's supposed to.

So is the KRZR really the best way to go?
The phone just seems so . . . feminine. I mean, it's not bad, but I don't want to have to deal with all of the problems it supposedly has.
Is this another option, or is the KRZR really not all that bad?

I would go with the LG 8300, 8600, or enV.

I have the 8600 and the reception is terrible.
