renewal time - which phone to upgrade to?

It is time for me to renew my Verizon plan. I want to replace my T720. I would like to get something with a bit more battery life, and better reception. Tired of having my phone beep to tell I missed a call, but it never rang in the first place.

What is the current recommendation for a color phone?

Thanks,

May I suggest the LGVX6000 or the Audiovox 8600 - check 'em out

The battery is rated as 103 hours standby on these 2 phones, on my T720 it is rated at 225, but I only see about 48 hours standby. What is the real battery life on the LGVX6000 or the Audiovox 8600
