Motorola phone offerings

I have been a VW customer for some 12 yrs now and have always been a supporter of Motorola phones. They have served me very well in the past. I notice that over the past few years Verizon is offering less and less Motorola products and the ones they do offer are always given poor reviews. Why won't Verizon offer the better quality Motorolas? I am unfamiliar with the Samsing and Lg phones and could definitely use some good advice on these if they are superior phones. Any help is very appreciated.

I've also been a long-time user of the Motorola. I went from the v120c to the v60i...both, while not flashy, were dependable.

Recently, I switched over to the Samsung a670. It's a good phone. Reliable. Exceptionally clear voice. Decent volume of ringers (although the choices are something to be considered...I've downloaded more from eringers.com). The Samsung seems to be making high quality phones...

I read many people like the LG's as well...my friend had an LG, though and hated it...she returned it within the 15 day period and ...

Twelve years ago the only phones worth buying were Motorola phones and they remained one of the better phones until about 3 years ago. When Motorola quit making their phones in Illinois and started making them in China (at least the CDMA phones) the quality went downhill. LG, Kyocera, Nokia, and Samsung have really taken a lead over Mot in quality since. In my opinion now - I expect problems with new Motorola phones when they are released and just hope that they are able to fix it later.

Up till 6 months ago, I had the Moto V60i. I thought it was great. After using it for 2 years, I started having minor problems in clarity. I initially upgrade to the Moto T730. It was actually pretty good as far as phone clarity and reliability, but the volume wasn't too good. In any places with background noice, such as in airports and in a moving car, I could hardly hear.
I got the Samsung A670, and it's great. I did not really want the camera feature, but, after testing out the other live phones, it seemed to deliver the best call clarity. I really like this quality built, stylish phone. The reception and call quality are excellent. And I even have fun using the camera feature--using photos of my dogs as wallpaper. I'd buy this...

Moto has had alot of problems I've seen in recent times, last good phone I seem to seen them release was the moto V60c or i.

LG isn't to bad but I like samsung better, they seem to make an advanced phone that makes it's feature user friendly which I find LG will often have many of the same features but usualy harder to use them.

just my 2Cents.

Dewd! Check out the Motorola V710 (out now at Radio Shack and any day now from VZW Retail/Web) and the Motorola A840 due out sometime soon. PS... crawl out of your rock sometime and surf the Motorola web site and this web site more often 😳

Nobody lives under a rock here. Some people actually have families and work for a living so that surfing the net constantly isn't a given. I'm doing my research...relax. Being helpful is cool. Dogging people here isn't.

You don't need to let anyone know anything because you're obviously a young boy based on how you reply to people. I'm trying to interact with adults, so please feel free to leave my posts alone. You can 'dude', etc. with someone else. When I need to ask something of someone who thinks he knows it all, I'll contact you....

Ooo, that hurt, besides I probably am old enough to be your father (it's great being retired). I type that way because 99% of the people on this board ARE teenagers home from school for the summer and come here and just trash these boards. I can't wait for school to start again. You will see the quality level improve here... so there NYAAA! 😛

actually most of the regulars here are adults, some with wives/husbands and children. The love of what they do keeps them young. I'm only 22 myself, but hey I don't see myself getting old ANYTIME soon. Some people just need to lighten up.

What's wrong with sayin "dude"?

I think it's the shizzle nizzle! 🤣

I simply do not understand you and your posts. If you have something helpful and constructive to post in reply to people's questions, why do it in an abrasive manner? I originally asked a simple question and then get a somewhat wise a$$ reply from you. You don't have to try to talk down to me as I am a 40 year old very well-educated professional, not some young punk looking to cause or receive problems. I hope this clarifies my position and ends this nonsense.
