This is the phone I've been waiting for, it has every feature I desire, Camera, PTT, speakerphone, high speed data, now all I need to know is if/when VzW will support.

Have you seen the reviews on the forum?https://www.phonescoop.com/phones/user_ reviews.php?id=400

Does anyone know if this is on the horizon for verizon? I tried to find a MIM link for it, I had no luck at guessing URL, since VzW doesn't offer any/many Sanyo phones.

Why does VzW keep screwing around, they should work on bringing the best technology to us as quickly as possible. Sprint always has the latest / greatest available, VzW is always slow bringing new phones to market ...

And the reason for that being is Verizon isn't looking to be the FIRST to come out with anything. The good thing about Verizon is that when somethng comes out it actually works... You saw what happened to PTT when Verizon rushed to launch it to get it out before Sprint. It takes forever to connect, and has almost a 7 second delay in some areas..

Tech TV Tested Verizon's PTT service against Nextel's and that ws the reult.. Know I KNOW Verizon is trying their hardest to correct it, but they also mentioned Sprint's worked almost as good as Nextels

True but this would be a great phone to use and to test... Someone said that Sanyo was Sprint exclusive also..

So, you are saying that Verizon rushed out to be 2nd in the market w/ their PPT feature, which comes in almost 10 years after Nextel perfected it, or was Verizon trying to come in first at being 2nd to the market w/ this feature, and that's why it stinks. 😉

Vzw is a large company, the largest US Wireless carrier by far. They have tons of cash, BUT they are extremely cheap. They look to use small, off beat companies, which they get bargain basement pricing from to bring new offerings to the market, often very late. This is a very conservative approach, and helps VzW bottom line, but for me as the consumer, it does nothing for me. New features / functionality show up elsewhere first, often times work better elsewhere first, and I pay...

True. They were second to the market with the PTT. Nextel had a contract with Motorola that gave them exclusivity to the product that Motorola had the patent to. Now the difference is that VZW uses different technology for its PTT than Nextel, and all new technology has bugs. Unfortunately they should not have released it but by reagion instead of all at once as most of the problem is overload.
Also LG is not an offbeat company. They are a subsidary of a very large computer manufacturing company named LOGIC. The reason they tell the customers they are good phones is because most of them own LG phones. There is no great deal... in fact most of those phones cost the same amount or more... it just debends on the model you get.
