Me and my fiancee are currently SPRINT users and we are getting tired of our service and our contracts are up in a couple of weeks, and I was wondering if VERIZON is reallt as good as people are saying they are? I have had T-MOBILE, CINGULAR, and now SPRINT and she has only had SPRINT. I know alot of people who have VERIZON and some say they love them and some say they hate them, and was curious what other thought of them. Thanks for any input you might have.

Verizon Wireless consistantly adds more customers every quarter then any other wireless carrier.

Verizon Wireless has the most loyal customer base (based on quarterly churn percentages)

Verizon Wireless has the nations most reliable wireless network.

the negative stuff you will hear about verizon is mainly due to their arrogance, they know they are the best and as a result they dont really try as hard as some others to match competitors, Verizon wireless doesnt really worry about the competition which is why their plans dont change to meet the competition often. the standard "verizon phones suck" and "crippled bluetooth/ugly ui" stuff is all fairly common on this forum however outside of this forum the regular user has spoken pretty...

As a former Verizon user, I'd recommend them to anyone. I jumped to Cingular at a time when Verizon had a lousy phone selection, but I wouldn't hesitate to go back if Cingular took a dump in my area.

If your fiancee' is using her Sprint service for more than just calls, then you better research this very carefully. In the long run though, I believe you'd be satisfied with Verizon.

Phones matter quite a bit when it comes to reception, as no 2 phones handle reception in weak areas as well as the other. Based on my experience with using phones on Verizon Wireless, the only brand I've had problems using in weak signal areas have been Motorola. If my phone had less than 4 bars (my old Motorola had 6), my calls broke up and in many cases, dropped calls. That was my old Motorola 120c. My brother had the Motorola V265 and had similar problems reception wise, but worked slightly better than the 120c. But the charging port went out on his phone, and was forced to go back to his LG VX4400, which wasn't all that great for reception. As for othre phones I've used, I had the Kyocera 2235 & my current phone, the Samsung a650 a...

You either love or hate Verizon or don't have any choice to leave.

People stay with Verizon because of the large coverage area they have. As for the phones they are ugly. Unless that is not an issue for you then join Verizon. With the coverage issue it all depends on where you are located.
