Needing to change to a new wireless courier I visited a local Verizon store. Employee offered me a promotion promising lower monthly bills, credit for trade in on three phones, and that my last bill with other courier would be paid. This was December 30,2015 when this all started and I'm still working on getting the credit for the phones that were sent in and to get my last bill from other courier paid off. Other courier has threatened to send bill to collections and Verizon is still dragging their feet on getting it paid. I have never been so displeased with a company as I am with Verizon. They have not lived up to their promises and now I have to worry about when the other courier will get paid. And the monthly bills are no lower ... (continues)
You always need to pay the old carrier and wait for your credit or gift cards.
I sell wireless and the last bill from the old carrier needs to show the ETF and number ported.
Customers can upload or mail in only a copy of the page(s) clearly stating the account name, wireless account, dates cancelled, phone number, and the ETF/EIP/lease balance amount per line. Customers should not send any call detail.
