I think verizon is way way overated!
I just wanted everyone to know that too
However, that doesn't mean they are an A+. To me, I'd grade them as a C student with others as worse, possibly even failing.
Verizon drop 10,000 emergency 911 calls in january
Verizon changed the 30 day return policy to 14days and have the highest etf's
Verizon got rid of the annual upgrade. New phones are dropping left and right and in 3mths your current android will be surpassed. The iphone 5 is dropping in a few months what about current iphone 4 users.
Verizon ripped off millions of dollars in data fees from its customers. For something so stupid most users didn't know it was even happening
Verizon is always behind in phones and new technology. For Example:
Verizon shouldn't get any credit for that either. Alltel leveraged itself as a rural carrier for years. They just had the misfortune of being consumed by Verizon. When I worked at Alltel they consistently chose to go to spots where the larger carriers were absent. Verizon's agreement in 2001 SHOULD have kept Alltel out of VZW's clutches, but they greased a few palms and likely bought a lot of politicians hookers to get it done.
They had the hotspot before one of its competitors not a big deal. They had to have something I mean they are selling a 7mth old device. The same thing happenend when verizon finally got the Pre they put the hotspot on it first. The hotspot is not a big feature though most ppl dont use it anyway unless its free.
iPhone 4 has a front facing camera. Verizon offered the hot spot feature before AT&T.
I'll give you the only reason I need to NOT use Sprint: It does not work at my place of employment or my apartment! ;)
This is fun!
No phones available on verizon have a ff camera for video chat.
Iphone 4. Facetime?
Far more than ATT dropped from 3G to EDGE. Verizon is so overhyped.
Oh BS! you don't know that maybe your personal experience but noone is taking your word for anything.
To be specific. My LG Ally dropped a call yesterday, and data dropped to 1x today. Again, real world, not some brainwashing Verizon advertisement.
Or if the real world matched what Verizon claims about being so "reliable" I wouldn't have anything to bitch about.
What Verizon claims, and the real world are 2 very, very different things,...hence the usage of the word OVERHYPED.
Well it's been just over a month now and so far I am happy with it. The touch screen doesn't go wacky when it's plugged in like the POS Moto Droid did. No problems with the keyboard so far.
I know a month isn't very long, but so far I am happy with it.
I just want everyone to know that is what I think, and to think about it.
