if you dont have one yet, the droid 2 looks nice.

It adds more space for apps, a faster processor, more ram, and they made it silver for some reason. It's running the same custom interface as the Droid X.

The original Droid is a great phone, and it's still the best choice if you want a Stock android experience (and you have interest in rooting)

But if you just want a good phone and have no interest in rooting, get the droid 2

Add to this, the original has a full keyboard on the inside. I like this feature sometimes.

Well after only just under 4 months the keys on my Motorola Droid are coming loose!!! I'm trying my best to use the on screen keyboard, though I prefer a physical keyboard over on screen.

Hey all,

After reading some of these posts I am officially confused. The Droid X looks like a sweet ass phone don't get me wrong but I am reading that the Droid 2 is supposed to be better hardware wise...How?

The Droid 2 is the update to the motorola droid. This means same 3.7in screen and the addition of a physical keyboard. Almost all the other internals will be the same. Same processor, memory, etc. The Droid 2 will apparently only have a 5mp camera, but as we know, mp arn't everything.

So really nothing different from the first Droid except a redesigned keyboard and a "better" camera? Odd...I am getting my unemployment reinstated thanks to our government so I will get the Droid X as I've been talking about for ages...I do like the newer keyboard design in the Droid 2 but feel that technology has come along way from my Voyager in terms of touch screen is concerned. Maybe I'm wrong?
