Hey i heard that i can call the 800 number to try to transfer my device over and ask to carry the insurance over. My only question is if i activate it over the phone or thru the My Verizon how come it can void off the insurance that way as opposed to calling it in???

you can only carry the insurance over if the device was one you purchased through verizon.
You can't transfer insurance to a device you got from a friend/off ebay/craigslist.

Hmm, I'm not sure if I understand the original posters ?, but how you responded I'm wondering if it has to do with me, cause I didn't buy my Droid from Verizon, I bought mine from letstalk.com
But I do have insurance.

that's an authorized agent. Meaning that it was sold from inventory to you without being out in the wild first. So your device is capable of getting insurance.
If you get one on ebay, there is no way for verizon or asurion to know if the phone was already damaged before you got it, so they won't insure it.

Oh, I get it.
I do have a ? about wear & tear though. I have seen pictures of Moto Droids that the buttons on the keyboard appear to be flat, whereas my buttons are kind of bubbly (sorry don't know how else to describe them), the U, I, and O keys appear to be lose, I can see the light underneath the keyboard more in the center of the top row.
You've had your Droid almost 5 months longer than me, I know you mostly use the virtual keyboard now, but have you had any problems with the physical keyboard as you have had your Droid for 9 month?

physical keyboard is fine, but as I said, I do about 90% of my stuff on my virtual keyboard. I've seen some where the letters are worn down though. It's actually pretty common on phones that have the screen printed keys.

Idk, maybe I type too hard sometimes? Well, at least I have insurance.
I've been trying to reverse my sleeping pattern, I'm going from working 6a-2p, to working 12a-8a, reversing my sleeping pattern is hard, not something I can do in just a day and a half.

It takes me about 4 days to do. the trick for me was the last day of the old sleeping pattern you get home and stay up all day until the point you would sleep under the new pattern and do a hard reset that way. It SUCKS but it was always the fastest way for me to switch going from 3rd shift to college.

Yeah well I don't know what to say, it just isn't that easy, I got
off @ 2pm Saturday, and the heat bogs me down, and well its just not that easy, I thought about going for a walk on the strip, walking through City Center, but I was tired. And I'm trying not to spend money, $80 to last me until the 21st.
I'll try to find some podcasts to listen to tonight while I'm @ work.

Android central is decent.
And a local rock station (WMMR) just released an android radio app. Not my favorite station, but a decent one.

I already have both Google Listen & Stitcher downloaded on my Droid, but today I d/l one called .PodKast. So I'll check that one out to see if it's worth keeping.
