I keep hearing 29.99 a month and looking for facts
Hi everyone I keep hearing that the smartphone plans cost 29.99 a month for data. But I can never find out what the actual smartphone (Blackbery plans) cost a month? For example how many mins are in the plans does it inc txt msg and so forth? My wife and I have a 4 line family plan. We are considering getting a smartphone for 2 of the lines and continue the 2 9.99 dumbphones for the other 2 lines with just the txt msg feature. We currently pay 200 a month with taxes inc. I was wondering if we could do the afforementioned for about the same price or will it cost WAY too much extra. Any input anyone can add to help me would be wonderful. Thanks in advance.

The plans are the same. There aren't special voice or txt plans. You just add the $29.99 data on top of whatever plan you have.

As vzwinagent said, you take your voice plan as it is now and add $29.99 per line that needs web and personal email.
The $29.99 plan is for unlimited web access and personal email retrieval on the device the plan is assigned to. It has nothing to do with minutes or texts, and only covers web access and personal email.
If you're currently on a 1400 Talk and Text plan with two extra lines, your first two lines would be $119.99, and the third and fourth lines would be $9.99 each. Two smartphones would be this same plan, plus $29.99 for each smartphon...
