Ugh. New VZ Restock Fee on Returns too?
What are these carriers trying to do nickel and diming me for everything? Now a restock fee on returned Verizon phones and exchanges? Super.
🙄

Vz has charged a restocking fee on phones for several years. You just find out about it? Or are you just a troll?

Not every company runs like Nordstrom's. In fact, go check out the return policy at many stores these days - you might be surprised by what you see. Things change over time.
Oh, and the restock fee isn't new. Nowhere near it.

Because you decided you wanted a different color?
Buying a phone is NOT supposed to be on impulse. they allow you to exchange in 30 days, but without the restocking fee, people would (and did) seriously abuse the privilege.
They are eating 400-600 on that return.. are you REALLY going to complain about $35?

But if it's too much phone for me - like a Blackberry, then I have to pay a restock fee? Even if I return and cancel service? Seems excessive.

Do your homework if a blackberry is too much phone for you, which my 6 year old can operate then get a jitterbug!!

Maybe you should think a bit more before you make a rash purchase.
What's excessive is the tens of thousands (if not millions) of dollars worth of stock wasted by customers because they made an impulse buy and don't want to pay for the mistake.
let me ask you, if you were paying for a new phone, would you want one given to you that someone else tried for 30 days? The answer is most likely no. So what do you think they would do with the product you changed your mind on?
