Question for Reps

My daughter's envTouch (purchased Aug of 2009) broke and was replaced this weekend under the warranty (not insurance). Is there now a warranty on the replacement? If so, it is just for the remainder of the year from when she bought the phone or from date of replacement? There's a noticeable crack at the top of the phone but otherwise it works just fine. I'm sorry if this has been covered here already, but I just don't remember seeing it. Thanks.

The warranty on Certified Like-New Replacements is either 90 days (from the date that the CLNR was activated) or the remainder of the original warranty, whichever's longer.

You will have which is greater, the remainder of the warranty or 90 days on the warranty replacement. Since you purchased the phone August 2009, the warranty would end august 2010, unless you have the 5.99 or 7.99 insurance option which would give you an additional year warranty. Hope this helps.

Did you have to pay $50.00 to get the replacement since you are outside of the 1 year warranty? If you did then it will come with a 90 day warranty on it.

IF you didn't pay 50.00 then that means you have an extended warranty on the phone or TEC (Total Equipment Coverage) then you have a 2 year warranty from the original purchase which would be Aug 2011
