Moto Droid camera question

So I finely got my 2nd Moto Droid up and running...Ebay! ๐Ÿ˜ก

But whatever. Now I've got a question about the settings for the camera mainly picture size and quality.

I ask because I've run into this before with VZW phones the cameras are capable of taking better quality...bigger size pictures than can be sent or received by others via MMS.
Basically there seems to be MB cap on the size of a picture sent via MMS, so what are the highest settings on the Droid to stay below this limit?

I know that when I had my EnV2, I had no issues sending pictures (2mp) but when I got my tour, att wouldn't accept the pictures (3+mp) so I would say 2mp is your best bet. That, or tell them to get on Verizon (I think sprint has a higher limit as well) ๐Ÿ˜

Typically carriers have a 600kb max for a MMS. Most phones auto resize the image for MMS without the user knowing it depending on the phone/carrier settings. So I recomend if you are sending to another smartphone to send it via email so there is no image degradation.
