Got a Hands on with the droid today...My first impressions...
So what does a guy do when he wants to see the most hotly anticipated cell phone release on verizon maybe ever? Well you simply walk in and see the phone in the hands of some faux hawked rep who was monkey'n around with it.
Here are my first impression after a solid 15 minutes playing with the device...
Screen:

Keyboard:
Pretty terrible, but would probably get better after a few weeks of use. I wasn't a huge fan, but coming from a blackberry, no keyboard will prolly measure up (especially a slider one). Both on screen keyboards are solid and very useable. I would prolly use the landscape on-screen qwerty more so than the physical qwerty.
Android OS:
The OS was snappy and very smooth in my limited use. Android seems like a strong competitor to the iphone mobile OSX and I really think this OS is going to take off as more and more people and carriers adopt the platform. An Open development platform will benefit everyone.
Music:
Seemed pretty basic, def not as good as the iphone or even blackberry, but...
