I am cross shopping providers and I am able to get a discount through my provider. The website requires me to enter an a company e-mail address to determine eligibility. The problem is I work for a defense contractor, so I have a government e-mail address, not one from my company. Is there any other way to find out what my company discount is?
I'd rather avoid going into a store until I have decided on who will get my buisness. I don't want to waste a saleperson's time when I am not going to give them any buisness right now.
Thanks

if it's Government related, most likely it's a 15% off bill/25% off accessories...
...
I'm not a government employee. I'm employed by a company that does work for the government. In my case, I work side-by-side with government employees and thus have a government e-mail address.

15% off bill, 25% off accessories, llama was correct. My discount tool hasn't been updated since Jan 08, so it could be higher. They don't lower.

You are quite welcome.

Hey, can you check what the discounts are for State of Florida employees please? 🙂

I'm not at work and won't be until tuesday. I know state employees here in Pa get 18%. I will check for you tuesday.

BAE Systems (from Att forum)
20% monthly discount on voice plan(all lines 34.99 or higher excluding unlimited plans)
20% monthly on data plans (smartphones)
25% off all accessories
Free activation fee on all 2 year contracts.
In the discount profile, it states that we can not make a copy of your id badge to add a discount in store at Verizon.
If you choose to go with Verizon, make sure you bring a pay stub into the store as proof of employment so the discount can be added instantly.
The blanket government profile only gives 15%. BAE discount is better.
Hope this helps.

ok. One issue for all you that are helping. This person has said that the government is NOT their employer, but are contracted to work for the government through another company. That company would have to be looked up through our ECPD profile to see if they receive a discount. my email address is crazyeaglefan236@yahoo.com I would be glad to help.

I checked for his company, not government discount.
...
The thing I'm curious about is that he does have a government email. If he input that on the site it would register him for the government discount, correct?
...
If the Verizon page works like the AT&T page, then yes it does.
If I want to use my company discount, I'll have to go into a store and do it the old fashion way. I really don't mind because I want to play with the phones in person before buying them.

I had a feeling the company rate was better than the DoD rate. Thanks.
This is quite a bit different from the discounts that Sunshinegirl posted. Is that because she was seeing the government rate, or because her listing was outdated? This isn't a knock on anyone, I'm just trying to figure out which one is the most current info.
Thanks all for the help.
