BB Tour ?
What's going on guys? I wanted to know if the BB Tour for VZW has Instant Messenger on it already installed? I haven't been with VZW for a while and I'm switching form ATT for the Tour. Just want to know the basics. Thanks.

New Blackberry devices come with links to install the IM client for MSN, GTalk, Yahoo, and AOL. Click and install. Once it's on there, you're ready to go. You can also find third-party stuff to install.
Because the phone required at least the $29.99/mo data plan, you'll find IM falls under your Internet/data package and won't count as a text as each message counts on normal phones. Just like Internet is separate from texts on a normal phone, the same is true with PDA/Blackberry phones, but things like IM and the Blackberry Messenger (Blackberry to Blackberry IM) all count as Internet data.
