Well I just found out that I am not elegible for the NE2 until 3/15/10. Now I am so looking forward to the BB Niagra as I hope it has a bigger keyboard...However this brings me to an important decision....While we cannot predict the future and whats coming down the pipleline do you all think that I should purchase the Niagra outright when its released or wait to see if something better comes along when its time for my NE2?

There will always be something new coming down the pipe. ALWAYS. If there wasn't, phone companies would lose customers if one of their competitors updated faster than they did.

I have the ENV2, the phones been out for just over a year and people are reviewing the EnV3 with "Finally Verizon's come out with a replacement to the EnV2" for a phone that is only a Year old and was wildly popular.

That being said, the tour looks like a great device, and even if something better is out by the time your NE2 is up, it should still have a decent resale value.

One last thing: Are you on a rate plan 79.99 or more?

I am currently on the Nationwide Select 450 $59.99 Plan...The thing I had a BB Curve and didnt like it cause it had a small keyboard. I am hearing that the new BB tour has a bigger keyboard for me.

By buying the phone outright, do you mean paying full retail price for it? Based on your price plan you would probably be eligible for an annual (early) upgrade on 07/15/2009. You would get 2 year pricing and usually a $20.00 processing fee but you do not get your ne2.
