Question...

I have 5 lines. Have had the NW Select plan for awhile now (90 for my line and 40 for the other 4). I get 19% corporate discount. After taxes, my bill was always about 137.60.

I just went to the Premium on the primary line only so that pushed the primary line from 90 to 110 but after my discount it should go down to about 89 after discount (as opposed to 73 after discount on the select plan), so about a 16 dollar increase overall. Guess my bill should be about 155 now.

So just to verify, I get the Navigator, Vcast Vpak, and the mobile email application itself (the one where I get notified of any new emails kinda like push email) is that correct?

Also, would this plan be acceptable should I get a smartphone like the Omnia?

Thanks ...

Yes, you get unlimited VZ Nav, Mobile Web, Vcast Vpak, Espn mvp, and MBs for that extra 16$ a month.

no, if you get the omnia its not premium capable. you would have your select plan and add email and web for 29.99 and if you want vz nav thats another 9.99. so your price will increase.

Ok thanks much. My new plan doesnt start until the 10th so I am thinking its best to download the navigator and mobile email app then so I dont incur any data charges. I am wanting to set up my email to be verizon.net and I am presuming its fairly simple correct?

Haven't been able to find a definitive answer to this question so maybe you'll know. Whats the largest size file you can send or receive with the mobile email app or is it like any other email program and pretty much unlimited?

Hey Midnight,
It looks like Verizon does not offer the Connect Plan with the Omnia. Why is that?
I would really like to have my voice service and unlimited internet all in one package.

because the omnia is a Smartphone. Connect plan includes unlimited MOBILE WEB, Mobile Email, and MBs. those are regular phone features, like for a dare or chocolate etc.

the Omnia has outlook and wireless push email, plus desktop style HTML internet and thus requires the 29.99 email and web for smartphone feature.

Cool, so is the 29.99 for unlimited service? I have searched through Verizon's website and all I can find is a unlimited data plan for 49.99. Is the 29.99 an in-store deal?

no its not an in store deal. if you add the phone to cart when you go to features you will see email and web for smartphone/blackberry 29.99 and can select it.
