Verizon reps have been being trained on it. Training started yesterday and ends today. Rollout tomorrow. Online at least from what I am begin told by V reps..

Yeah my rep was in training also, but he is the one who told me that it will available to corporate only on the 17 of Nov.

Hopefully mine is right. I guess we'll see tomorrow. Regardless, the 17th is not too far off.

It is supposed to be the 17th. I have a webinar set up in my region for the 15th. Which has to be done before the indirect launch. There is NO WAY it releases today, or anytime this week for that matter. Someone misunderstood the question and or the answer somewhere along the lines of that conversation.

How is it being launched? Online only? Any idea of a price point?

Launches November 23rd in VZW Retail Stores as well as Best Buy (who is taking pre-orders for $50 each). It has not been determined when it be available to Indirect Agents. It "possible" that it will be available for order on the 21st and agents would have to pay overnight shipping. But then we have to deal with the issue of people selling it on Saturday since esn'meid's will obviously be loaded in the system. Premium Agents are the first candidates follow by exclusives, excl +1's and finally sub-agents.

A couple things in your statement make me wonder.

Overnight shipping on Friday would arrive on Monday. For saturday you have to do special Saturday shipping which has to be done on Thursday, not Friday. Also, Indirects don't have access to order equipment. They get their equipment from the agent they are under or from other sources but not directly Verizon.

I'm not sure who you work for.... But yes, agent do order from Verizon Wiresless. They can also order from Brightstar and various other sources. But agents DO...

Sorry, I had a misprint there. It was probably quite confusing. I meant to say sub-agents can't order directly from verizon. I know indirects can, but their sub-agents can't.

No worries. I dont think too many subs will be getting it anyway. I could be wrong though.... The subs in my market are heavily into pre-paid anyway. I have one sub who still sells the VX600 and the VX4400. Seriously.
