Yeah, all those sticky sweet stories about WiMAX actually happening this decade or possibly showing up in a device or two were really getting on our nerves. Now it seems the "little wireless standard that couldn't" is back to form with a report from the Satellite Users Interference Reduction Group (SUIRG). Apparently those folks found "conclusive" results of "unacceptable" levels of interference from WiMAX of satellite signals in the C-ba...

No matter what happens, I and other customers with these great plans are still going to have them, if Sprint sells, is bought out, or whatever.
People here won't have a great plan like ours.
People with Simply Everything, will still have EVERYTHING. People on these other carriers won't!
Sprint is still the betetr company with the better portfolio of services. They are struggling. They will make it out...one day.
To those who want Sprint to fail simply because they drink the kool-aid of their carriers need to listen to the arguments of...

Sprint started their wireless services in 1995 as the ONLY national wireless provider. Everyone else joined the game 2000-2001. Sprint has a leg up there.
Sprint bought Nextel primarly for the iDen Network, and from what I've seen-they are trying to buy complete rights to iDen from Motorola. This wasn't a mistake, WiMax is planned to replace their CDMA network. iDen is a fallback if WiMax fails.

Yes the sky is falling and the world is coming to an end, could you possibly get any more melodramatic? 🙄
I know you love sprint, but even you have admitted that they are in a downward spiral right now. I know they are trying to make changes to ensure their future, but that doesnt change how they are performing today.
What with Sprint currently offering pretty much every channel available on Satellite on their phones-live. It's no wonder something like this would come up in regards to a technology that will only improve the speeds to allow better video streaming.
All we need to do is wait and see what the people over at the WiMax camp say in responce. If you read the article, it says the same thing.
