FAMILY PLANS SUCK! READ ON PLEASE!!

LittleMermaidAK

I'm on a family plan consisting of 2 people. If we had a 2 year contract, can't we disactivate our account for less money? Verizon has buisness phones and hand helds... what I'm looking for is a cute flip phone with a camera and REAL MUSIC ringers. I HATE THEIR PHONES đŸ‘ŋ

Please respond! Thanks a ton!

Why did you join VZW in the first place? I'm not trying to be rude, but you knew what kind of phone selection they had when you activated your lines. I too am on a family plan now, and have no complaints about it. It looks like your thread is only complaining about the phones and ringtone capabilities. Most of their phones are able to play real music ringtones, as given from modtones DJ and sony music box...and for others you can send yourself ringtones to your vzwpix.com account. Is this why you want to deactivate your account? Because of the phones and their ringer options, and not because of the family plans as you noted in your title? If so, then sorry...can't really help you there...

I love how reps from different companies just jump in like the opportunistic ditto-heads they are trained to be.

I mean honestly, you don't even know what Verizon has to offer in phone selection so what are you talking about?

All of the camera phones Verizon offers have real music ringers and tones. Been that way for several months.

Actually..I do know. But she wanted a "cute" phone, and she already stated that she didn't like any of verizon's phones. Just trying to be helpful.

No where did I bash any company. Just telling the truth..GSM carriers offer a wider selection or phones and phone styles.

So now only GSM phones can be "cute"?

I didn't know GSM had cornered the market on cuteness. đŸ˜ŗ

(kind o' a shame that Cain is banned, really... he'd jump in right about now with a 'white paper' on how GSM has indeed 'engineered cuteness right into the phones'...)

No..that's not what I said: "GSM offers a wider selection of phones and styles."

She's more likely to find a phone she likes through them. since she ALREADY STATED she didn't like Verizon's selection.

geez. 🙄

I am responding as you requested. The only question you aske is "can not we disactivate our account for less money?" I'm pretty sure disactivate isn't but I know what your saying. So you want to disactivate your account for less money, less money then what?

Yes, you can disactivat each line for less money than $200 per line.

In regards to cuteness of phones, that is a pers...

Here's another option:

You mentioned you have 2 lines with vzw, and your mom has one with T-Mobile, but that she needs her minutes...Your initial thread was about plans, but you've made it a point you don't like your phone.

How many people/subscribers/phones/lines of service etc...are we talking about? Is it that you want to get everyone together on a family time plan that has a lot of minutes and get new phones?

Are you suggesting how much would it be to cancel your existing lines to re-activate new ones on another account/plan?

I'd like to help, but clarification is the key word here lol...

I don't drink alcohol. I don't use drugs. My brain cells are quite precious to me. I read the original post and I MUST PROTEST! I feel that I had to have lost more brain cells from reading it than a year of moonshine would have cost me. I refuse to read any of the responses either. Just take it away PLEASE!
