I called one of the LG reps that were listed on the form that systemshock posted and he told me the 8350 will come out in two weeks!

I agree too the 8300 has set the bar VERY high for all other phones. Lets just hope that the 8350 can top it in some way.

I think it's going to be better. Most of lg's upgrades have been for the better, not worse. the V to the enV, chocolate to new chocolate. IMO. 😁

for the simple fact that an internal antenna won't get as good a service as a external. It might not be a significant difference, but there will be one

env's and chocolates don't have those problems. service with those phones were exceptional. I've had both of them. Then again, I could be in a great verizon area for coverage.

I'm not saying it isn't worth it to go to some phones with an internal. I love my 9800, but my 8000 got better service.

True. And the 8300 was a bit better overall than the 8100 too, according to many (though there's a few who disagree).

But to be honest, it's prolly not so much about making a phone 'better' than its predecessor, but rather, making a phone that will SELL better than its predecessor. Cha-ching! 😁

People definitely like the 8300, but probably every focus group came back the same: "Nice phone, but wish it was a little sleeker, and lose that antennae stub, will ya?"
