Digital only, no startac votes!
I would say the Lg8300 in my opinion. I know the 6000 and e815 were great to but I still say the 8300 is the best ever.
...
Pretty much ANY phone that they had BEFORE their genius idea of standardized user interfaces. One of my favorites would definitely be E815.
...
From my experience the LG VX7000 was just as good as the VX6000.
I never tried the e815.

From my experience...LG 8300 would be the best. My 16 year old would argue her ENV is the best she has ever used.
...
i would say the 8100 or 8300 😁 83 because it was the newer of the 2.
however, if the 710 WASN'T the devil i'd put it on my VZW fav list.
...
Definately the 8300 hands down...It is one of the best selling and best working phones EVER by verizon. Its gonna be hard to beat...
...
If the LG VX7000 had come with bluetooth and a memory card slot it would have been and still would be the best phone ever form VZW.
...
I meant to say the LG 8000 😕
...
i have had an 815,8100,8300,choco,razr,9900, now using the 8700.
The 9900 was by far best phone I ever had.
...
Well, if you want to say best phones EVER?
For its time the Audiovox cdm-9000 was awesome.
The startac was also very good.
But as far as phones go now, the 8000, 8300 and Gzone are the 3 best put out. Period.
...
I'm sorry. But you have to include the audiovox 9900 and the LG 8100. I think the 8100 was better than the 8300.
...
Yeah the 9900 was good, as was the 9500, the 8100 was not as good as a phone as the 8300.
...
The LG VX8100 was horrible in low reception areas even with the 3G disabled. In fact, I termed my VZW contract because of that phone.

I looooooved the 8000, that was a great phone, with a very usable form factor.
8300 was also an excellent all around phone.

audiovox cdm-9900. (rebadged toshiba 4050 i think)
bulletproof, beautiful screen.
my wife threw hers in the sink 3 times, each time I just poped out the battery, chucked it in the oven @ 120 for a few hours and all was good.
still have both as spares (put 2.5 years on one, 3 on the other, still work perfectly, but I wanted the new choco and she wanted the 6800.)
...
I know a lot of people are saying the 815, the only things that are keeping it off my list for "Best phone ever" is the charging port, Motorolas mysterious "white screen of death" and iTap.
While the 815 was an excellent phone I dont think it can be classified as "best phone ever", since that means pretty much perfection.
...
I would totally agree. I hated the e815! Itap is a joke, and I actually found their menu system difficult to use when compared with the verizon UI.
I know a lot of people hate on the Vzw UI, but I kinda like it. I've used some other phones and I haven't been that impressed some of the manufacturer's UI offerings.
My vote would have to go the 8300, for its overall performance, looks, extensive feature set, call clarity/reception, and general durability.
...
I agree, I kinda like the UI

Well, its a bit more bearable now that you're not stuck with the distracting, blindingly red bars.
I wonder which numbnuts at VZW thought
that was a good idea? 😳
...
Yeah the flash themes make it better. The standard UI is so boring and basic looking that it takes the fun out of the phone.
...
i agree, I have an 815 in a box(looks new) lying around somwewhere at home. It was a good phone, but i wasn't all that impressed. I would say it was one of the best motorolas built for vzw, but not the best phone
...
Either the E815 or, IMHO, the VX6700.
...
I have a sneakin' suspicion its the Audiovox 9900. 😎
It was Toshiba-made, not Audiovox (thank god), and while I've run across very few ppl who ever got to own one, every one of them RAVES about that phone.
I think Toshiba doesn't make cellphones anymore, if so, I have to wonder why, they were good at it.
The user review scores on PhoneScoop are amazingly high for that phone also.
Best phone I've personally owned?... Well, its early days yet, but the LG 8300 is impressing me. It's not perfect, but it's good in almost every area... no big glaring weaknesses, which is usually what takes down most phones.
...
The 8550 has everything I need and the calls are crystal clear. It seriously takes the place of 3 devices, especially because it doesn't use Verizon's crappy VCast music player. The RAZRmaxx is a close 2nd, though.
...
I still like the VX8100... was a pretty solid phone for its time. But the LG 4400 is the mac daddy of all phones 😛
...
until they started recalling batteries.
...
.......2 days after they launched.
lol
...
Audiovox (Toshiba) 9500.
Best.. phone.. evar.
Mods, please close the thread, I win.
I had the 9000 and then bought the 9500 (with obligatory extended battery
...
Please tell me thats not the one that was kind of big and had the largest antenna ever on it. I hated that phone when we sold it. It had more problems than moto's did.
...
Yes thats the one.
Youre in the VAST minority.
Dude, I was in Tybee Island, GA. on an island in the middle of the ocean, in a civil war fort (three foot thick concrete walls, in a civil war jail cell), in analog, making calls no problem what-so-ever.
That phone was the bees knees man
...
Probably because of the 10 foot tall antenna. Anyways I think we got the last couple batches of that phone which turned out to be junk. we didn't carry that phone for very long and when we did it was a nightmare
...
I agree, I had a ton of problems with that hideous monster at my store as well
...
still better than half the crap released after
...
env / 8300, lg8000, 6000, and not copying yeahright the 510. 815 was good for reception but thats the only thing I liked about it. In fact its being sold on ebay right now.
...
OMG! I paid retail for that garbage, like $400 or something stupid and it was the biggest peice i ever owned.
...
You and me both bro. Boy was thta a total POS.
...
Well, J-Dog, I hope by now you've learned your lesson with Moto's. Me personally, best phone ever is the 8100. Ya dig?
...
🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣
I can't believe I wanted that phone so bad when it came out. Worst phone ever maybe.
...
