Sprint treo exclusive?
A Sprint salesperson just told me that Sprint has a 6 month exclusive on new treos that they carry. So that means Verizon will not sell the 755P until late November. He also said that the Treo 800 will be out on Sprint before the holidays and will run on Linux. Do you think he knows what he he is talking about? He seemed very knowledgeable and confident of his information.

If Sprint had a 6 month exclusive on all Treos I would imagine there would be more news about it than the word of some sales rep.
Verizon is just... slow to come out with a lot of this stuff. We were the last company to get the RAZR as well. Yes, Cingular had an exclusive on that one (that everybody knew about) but Sprint and Alltel and US Cell did not. In the end, we seem to have fewer problems with the product we do put out so I'll accept the trade-off.

You dont watch much TV, do you? Altel even made fun of sprint in an ad because altel had the RAZR before sprint.. and FYI, VZW had it before altel.

If you are looking to get a Treo and are trying to decide which network, the choice is easy... simply look at the difference in price on the data plans. Sprint is $15 a month for unlimited everything, vzw is around twice that...
