Hello... just wondering what Verizon's commission structure is because ours just took a huge turn for the worst.

I was also wondering about this. I work for an indirect and they just royally screwed us as far as commission goes. The changes they made will literally cut my commission in half. Did this effect direct stores as well? Either way, I'm quitting end of this month.

Not trying to defend your company, but as a indirect store owner, VZW just cut our comissions on new acts quite a bit and also lowered my residuals, it might be a trickle down effect your feeling.

Ouch... keep those cuts in the southeast! So far nothing has changed in the Midwest! I don't want any cuts!

Sorry, not going to discuss details here, I got in BIG trouble a while back for posting "internal" stuff on this forum, trust me, Big Brother is watching.

Yeah, just watch it, about 3 years ago I posted something about an upcoming phone, and I got a "cease and deceast" lettter and told next time that it happened I would loose my agent agreement.

Now I dont give out any details or upcoming prices.

I won't give any commission stuctures...just state that VZW has made it to where dealers lose money if I sell someone an LG VX8700 or a LG VX9900 orange. Heck, they will sell a phone full retail to a consumer cheaper then they will sell that same phone to a dealer. Get ya' some of that!

Motorola was selling the Razr Maxx for 80 bucks cheaper then VZW was selling that phone to the dealer for. Only Moto and VZW have a sex pact to where no one can buy a phone for resale from Moto. So if Moto sells for 80 bucks less...and that is their retail to a general consumer...and VZW buys thousands at a time from Moto...what do you think VZW real "cost" is on that phone?!?! Enough that when we buy that phone from VZW we just paid our own commissi...

Ok just went onto Motorola's Site and they upped the cost to mirror VZW's "retail" cost. Go figure. We had a few complain about the 280 they were selling it at...figures VZW would make Moto change their retail cost...

OK...here is more proof. Go on to Moto's site. Look at the retail cost of a K1m for verizon Wireless and then look at a GSM version of the same phone...unlocked. a couple months ago, the prices were the same. We complained to our rep...they took this to their "buyer". Now Moto's "retail" cost was raised...

Proof that VZW makes a killing selling the phones to the agents...
