you know im surprised alot of people still dont know this, but the backup assistant program that backs your numbers up to the verizonwireless website is free now , as long as you have an account on the verizonwireless.com website, i really feel bad for people when they come in to get their phone replaced and cant get their phone book, so i hope this post helps alot of people out because to alot of people nothing is worse then losing your phonebook when it could of been prevented by downloading a free application on your phone.....if anyone has any questions about it feel free to ask

everyone on here knows...and everyone, even if you dont have backup assistant can back up their numbers.

Heck, just spend an hour typing em out and then save/print out a copy for your records...i used to do this before backup assistant and it gave me a little peace of mind about losing my phone

There are people that will not sign up for "my account" because they don't want to have personal information online. I have a friend that always has to call in to get things done, I tell him over and over that you could do that online yourself quicker, but he won't sign up for it.

not to everyone...the average person prolly has less than 50 numbers in their phone. Just write em down and put them in a safe place. then maybe add to the list every few months.

Now, I have 432 phone numbers in my phone, so it got to be a little cumbersome to write them all down, so the backup assistant was worth the $2.

I still use BitPim because it handles more than just the contacts.
