Not sure. It doesn't have Get-It-Now or web capability though, like the 3589i did.

Yes it does... the phone will be released once the distribution centers have run out of the 3589i stock so hopefully sometime in the near future since my store has not had any in stock for over a month!!

Well... it will be a good phone for older folks who aren't into downloading 'In Da Club' or who aren't going to be using the phone as a modem. It's simple, most people that had the 5185 will be familiar with the Nokia brand & menu quirks, etc. My business customers will probably go for it in bunches because it's a very inexpensive handset.

According to Verizon's page for this phone, it is indeed internet ready:

Ummmm... no. Nowhere on that page does it say anything about being National Access ready.

Internet Capability is carrier dependant on that phone...

yup, it's definitely carrier dependant. VZW dropped the ball on this one and the new Kyocera.

I don't understand why anyone would care if the Nokia or Kyocera could use Get It Now or Mobile Web. So far, everyone I've sold Nokias or Kyoceras to are too frugal to worry about TXT, GIN, or MW. Those people want a phone with 14 buttons (0-9,#,*,SEND,END) and basic service. Having had two AT&T Nokias for two + years, I don't come to expect much from the low-end phones.

It's not about being frugal. It's about using having a phone for it's stated purpose and actually having it work. My 3589i was near perfect in the mountains of Maine. Signal, reception and no dropped calls. My 14 year old with his fancy Moto couldn't get a signal. Both on VZW. He wouldn't be caught dead with my "don't expect much from this low end" phone; but he didn't hesitate to ask me to borrow it 10 or so times that day.

If you're in sales, try another occupation 😉

I think you're rushing to judgments rather quickly. The Nokia 3589i did not launch Get It Now capable either. Nor did the LGVX3200. Nokia's software was upgraded to accept BREW, and the 3200 is capable of receiving enhanced text messages with ringtones from our vtext.com website.

This morning, there was a link at the bottom of the specs that read "Internet Ready." The page has since been corrected. The page also says that the phone has a capacity of 500 phone book entries, but I'm sure that will change as well 🙄

Thats funny how you post a link to prove your self wrong. Did you even look at the specs? How about comparing w/ the older nokia?

I clicked on the link you provide and looked up and down that page a couple of times thinking of what i'm not seeing and what you are. Either posting that link was a funny joke to you or you're just.....I better not say.
