Helios so called warranty on the Ocean does not exist. I have spoken with 4 individuals and the company policy is that all defects are user damage. No attempt is made to send a replacement (as stated on their website) while determining if the unit has a manufacturing defect. Mine opened in both directions and jammed. An internal component or spring seems to have broken. they do not offer to even have it returned to be inspected. They also do not offer any supervisor or manage to speak to I have never seen such poor customer service.

Dude, I work for Sprint, I would've told you the same thing. No way to prove that you didn't do that yourself by opening it incorrectly. The warranty covers things going wrong with software, or something electrical going wrong, not a hinge getting stuck. That's why you should always get the $7 insurance. Don't knock the company because you weren't smart enough to read the fine print.

so wait, you weren't smart enough to get insurance on your phone and you want them to replace something that can't be proven it's a manufacteur's defect? Idiot.

hmm,

In the store you got it at, in the very minute you purchased the product, you didnt notice that the phone was defective? Upon activating it, you need to enter an activation code, you need to open the phone, were you really that dumb not to notice?

It doesnt matter what carrier customer abuse will NEVER be covered by manufacturer warrantee.

Go play frisbee with an iphone and then ask ATT to help you out.

He got his answer, what more does he need. When he got the phone and walked out the store and phone was working like it should. Then all off a "sudden" he phone open both ways? Give me a break he probably broke it and didn't get insurance so he wants to place blame else where? take responsibility for your own actions.

Ocean is just a peice of trash, I had so many complaints about almost every Ocean. Heat is not a good phone either. The drift was alright, and the Fin is good, except the battery life for me last 2 hours, and that was after letting the battery die down and recharging it fully. I have never been able to replace my kickflip with a phone I have liked.

ANd it is true, if you tell customer service you are going to cancel they will credit you on your bill so many ways just to keep you because they have been signing up so many non paying customers that they are dying slowly.
