Is there anyway to get a lower deposit with helio?

they wanted 300+phone from me.

I know better credit would help, but i don't exactly have the right now.

I have cingular and hate them, ive had t-mobile, and they are EH... loved sprints signal but hated their customer service, and verizon wants 400.00 too...

any help, and no smart ass comments please.
