I'm thinking about getting the new helio ocean cell phone, andI was just wondering about the accuracy of the coverage map on their website. Does anyone know how accurate it is? The service it's showing for my places of interest seems to be too good to be true, as they're both rural.

I am in a Send Stuff + More with some small spots of Blab away around me... However, I don't get good signal strength at my home for voice. From work (about 10 miles from home and in the same colored coverage) my signal str and reception are fine, looking at 6 bars currently.

Now, having said that, noone gets good signal str where I live and that's people with Cingular, Verizon and T-mobile. So, I guess it has more to do with the area o maybe the house itself, I dunno. The only time I ever got good signal str and a crystal clear call was with my Cingular service using my Siemens S66 but that phone is defiant and will get a good signal just about anywhere. It gets service where noon else can so I don't know if that is a product of the...

helio uses sprints network.. so a good tool will be sprints own coverage map and current customers if you cant find any helio users in your area... im not sure if they roam onto verizon for data i know they will for voice though...
