Back in September outside of my 30days Helio waived there cancellation fee because I was recieving mis information with their agents. So they told me they was going to send me a RMA label for a refund on my phone. Didnt recieve a label till November because they was on backorder. After I sent the device in for a refend. Early December I recieve $350charge for returning the device late. So I called in about that they took care of that. So I also asked about my refund on my phone, they informed they cant refund my phone since it was out of the 30days, and that the "supervisor" who cancelled my service for me should have not sent me an rma label. Some specifics I curious about. You're begginning your story with "outside of my 30 days" what happened during the first 30 days? What mis-information did the agent tell you? Im not too sure anyone but a Helio manager with some pull can help you at this point, but the lack of details leaves me curious.
Helio only has 5 corporate stores in the U.S. (New York, Denver and 3 in California) If you have not been to any of those stores then you have not met a real Helio employee. Most Helios are authorized agents. So you are dealing with tons of people who have not been trained properly or at all about Helio. I am getting a bad feeling about Helio as I used to work for them. At first I was excited about everything they have to offer, but as time went on I saw that their target market was a problem (18-25 years old). The chargeback percentage for most companies were 20%...with Helio it is well past 50%. It is due to the lack of responsibility on their customers part.
