I've heard a lot of people talking about helio lately and some things they told me and it sounded to good to be true. I tried to look for some info online to at least see something in writing but couldn't find anything.

Statements i heard them say was that
1.)Free mobile to mobile for calling Korea if the person in Korea has an SK Telecom phone

2.)Free mobile to mobile text messaging to Korea if they have an SK telecom phone

3.)No international charges for text messaging to the Philippines

I was hoping if anyone out there could give me some insight regarding this, thanks.

That sounds somewhat logical, BUT you may want to call and talk to a Helio rep before you commit.

Actually, call and try to talk to 5 or so Helio reps. If you get the same answer 2 or more times then that is probably the correct answer lol.

Write down which reps you talk to, dates, times, etc. Get the service and make some Korean calls/texts within the first 30 days..check online or call to see how they are being billed. If it's satisfactory keep the device and the service. If not, then return it all within the first 30 days.

Sorry I couldn't give something more concrete.

Hey no worries.

I really think if any of the above true Helio will hit it big time in the American-Asian market.

I'll go ahead and call customer service and see if they can direct me somewhere in writing.

I'll keep this post updated.

I called two seperate times and both customer service representatives told me that there is no charge or international charge for mobile to mobile from a helio customer to an SK telecomm customer in Korea if you have one of the 'all-in plans'.

No additional charge for international text messaging. If you have the all in plan its limitless even to the Philippines.
