So do you have to pay $0.30 per mb to browse Amp'd live? Then what happens when you stream a video? Do you pay to stream it and then pay for the data charges as well?

Not only are there data charges but they seem to be charging at a much higher rate than 30 cents per megabyte. I used to have Virgin and they charges $1 for 500KB or 24 hours whichever came first. I could check email and watch baseball on MLB.COM for 18-20 hours before using up 500KB.

On AMPD, I am being charged $0.20-$0.35 to just check email once or twice, maybe 10 minutes total browsing!!!

Could Virgin Mobile phones display full webpages? I heard ampd phones can display full webpages and it's supposed to be broadband, maybe thats why it's more expensive.

I was not going to any full webpages. I just went to the special mobile web pages for Yahoo and Gmail. These are excactly the same as I went to on Virgin.

Virgin does display the same webpages as Ampd (but a lot more slowly).
