Amp'd uses the Verizon Wireless CDMA network for their coverage area. Even though Verizon Wireless still has analog/AMPS areas in the country, all 3 handsets of Amp'd are dual band CDMA which means in essence if you go somewhere that's analog, you won't have any coverage. With Amp'd being an MNVO, I'm not sure what intercarrier roaming agreements they have with other CDMA wireless carriers like Alltel or Sprint Nextel Inc. at this time.
