Don't do it!

I took the plunge and signed up. What a mistake.

Their video content is 99% pay per view, totally uncompetetive with the rest of the market.

I was lied to about one of the key features of the phone.

No problem (i thought) I will just use the 14 day cancellation policy and move on to Sprint.

It's been over a month and they won't return my $$ for the phones. Dozens of empty promises of a returned call withing 24hrs. "Oh no problem sir we'll credit your card back right away" I'd be rich if I had a dollar for every time i've heard that! They won't even give me an address to ship the phones back!

They are either crooks or terrible business men.

Is that so? Then why is it that my daughter has been using their service for almost a month and we have experienced nothing like what your saying.

He might not be a troll. There are always people who exist on both sides of the pendulum. Some have no problems, no concerns. Then there are the types I had in earlier. 8 phones swapped over a 2 year period, neumerous calls into customer service.

uhm you're a smart one, you're satisfied amp'd so there's no point for you to return your phone, on the other hand motododo was not. you try returning your equipment to amp'd and see how you get treated.

Wow let's all show our intelligence here! Why is this person a troll? Because they're having a bad experience? That makes sense. You're obviously not a customer service rep. Like the other person said; everyone has good and bad experiences. I see it everyday. I'm glad you had a good experience but that doesn't mean that everyone will. And you shouldn't insult them because of that.

Well about the service, I cannot make any statement since I do not have Amp'd. However about the refund process, I know that it is standard procedure for a Credit Card refund to take 4-6 weeks. That's why you have to do your homework before buying a service from a new provider.

I've had Amp'd for 3 weeks. It's great... I ditched Sprint (paying $150 term fee) because Amp'd was so much better. I'm in the Seattle area and the service is better than Sprint, so take it FWIW.
