So... i read the boards and a lot of people said that Amp'd mobile's prices were way too high. i've never had a cell phone before, but from the research i tried to do, it seems like $39 a month for 450 minutes, unlimited nights & weekends, and unlimited texting (that was $10 extra) isnt a bad deal, is it? and $99 for a phone? i dont know, it doesnt seem too bad. i just came hear because im 17 and, like they were geared to, the commercials attracted me to this phone. but since i've never had a phone before, could someone either convince me to get this one or point out a good deal for me?

P.S. i like how many games it looks they have for this one, and the fact that you can watch the daily show and stuff like that, but maybe theres one...

i really wish i could find the edit button on this thread, i meant 250 minutes... sorry. i dont think it'll be a problem for me though to only have 250 minutes a month, that should be enough. i'd probably do most of my calling on the weekends anyway.

Their prices really aren't bad at all. I don't know what the guy sayin' their prices suck are thinkin'.

The only thing that's really whack 'bout their plans is that Amp'd don't give you unlimited mobile-to-mobile minutes until you've already used up all your peak minutes. 'Unlimited overage mobile-to-mobile' they call it. That part is not so good.

To be honest, I'm a T-Mobile kinda guy. But when i see a good deal, I see a good deal. This on the other hand, is not so good of a deal. u wrote 250 mins for $39. I'm actually looking at the site now and its a bit different. they have a $30 plan with 500 mins. Which sounds a bit more better. and actually thats a pretty good deal. but keep this in mind.. no free nights. its $7 extra. if i were u and i had my eyes set strictly on amp, id wait a a while until its truly rolling around the streets. because nobody has it. or u can always get T-Mobile... 🙂
