The Jet/Angel an' the Hollywood are cool, but Amp'd obviously needs mo' phones than that.

Phones I'd nominate to be on Amp'd (keepin' in mind that Amp'd is cdma/EVDO):

- the RAZR. An easy choice.
- the LG 9800 ('the V'). Also an obvious choice.
- Samsung 950 (maybe in a diff'rent color, though)
- Samsung 970 (ditto)

No dice, unfortunately. None of those have EVDO & VCAST.

Pretty sure Amp'd wants all their phones to be EVDO- and VCAST-capable. Its one a' their 'differentiators'. Plus, they want to sell you data an' entertainment services.

🤣 ha ha ha. let me laugh now cuz if anyone who even attempts to sell amp'd will be shot in my hood.

i can see it now:

news: today in shootings ardutarek miknauf was shot for attempting to sell a look alike motorola e815 code named hollywood for $200.00 to a young man named lil' steezey. when miknauf quoted price to steezey, steezey then quote said "hell naw be-atch!!!!" un-quote and the proceeded to shoot miknauf in the lower abdomen.

It ain't that bad tho'.. EVDO phones have been droppin' in price. There's two EVDO/VCAST phones out fo' Verizon right now that're under $100 if you get 'em from vzw online (w/a 2-yr, of course).

Don' know if they're gonna push fo' "more money than vzw" either.. I know they're gonna try to be real aggressive on sellin' data an' entertainment, but on the other hand, they do have $29.99 plans.. Verizon don't, at least not in my area.

just make sure the razr is the v3i and not the v3c for obvious reasons if you have been in the v3c forum.

they should also look into gettin the new ROKR in cdma with EVDO and VCAST and puttin it on amp'd

Actually, narrow my list down a little. Amp'd be cool if they jus' got the black RAZR an' the LG 9800/V (maybe in a different color).

Tho' technically they can't score the black RAZR 'til after May, due to Cingular's exclusive on it runnin' 'til then. Also, they need to get a card slot on that thing.. current VZW version of it don' got one.

I also think it'd be great if they got some iTunes phones. That might even make me switch from Verizon to Amp'd, once my contract is up.

Mmm.. a black RAZR wit' iTunes runnin' on Verizon's network(what Amp'd uses).. SWEET! 😎
