because he loves to torture himself.....jump on some gsm after having cdma is like intentionally dropping broadband to go to dial up.

have fun with those lame providers. all amped mobile customers can take their equipment to VZW and they can use your phones to start a contract with us or start a Easy Pay contract.

why would you want to go to Verizon... to pay twice as much and get treated poorly... You can go to T-Mobile (and it's just like amp'd no credit check and regular plans)and get better service than you had with amp'd

some like data some like other things they offer! I personal hate GSM. So I will never go to tmobile even if I can get service for free! Thats me! I will stick with Alltel, Verizon and sprint in that order. Sprint would be number one but they need to fix some things before I go back to them!

Not everyone will uses data (WAP browsing) on their phones. Some people just talk, don't care for camera, data, BlueTooth, etc.

It's what bests suits the consumer. Mobile to mobile calling, coverage, PRICE, customer service, etc.

Everyone's expectations may be different than others.

Peace,

I like to have two lines. Now that T-Mobile has flex pay, I'm strongly considering porting over my at&t line to T-Mobile.

In a world that only 8% of all americans are saving for their future we buy 2 lines and waste money on that. You might be able to tell me why you need to lines but I can't for the life of me figure out if your not using one for business! But hey to each their own!

internet is cheaper on t mobile than on vzw, and cingular. Not sure if it's cheaper than at&t. tmo coverage is a little lax in certain areas though. I used to have a vzw razr and a tmo pearl.

Sprint reiterated that it is committed to WiMax, but conceded that it can't make firm plans until a new CEO is hired. In the mean time, temporary CEO Paul Saleh has said the company will work hard on improving both customer service and its handset lineup to bolster its sagging core business...

Sprint and Clearwire were unable to come to an agreement to jointly build a nationwide WiMax network. The companies announced their intention to partner in July, but coming to an agreement proved to be too complex and were further complicated by the resignation of Sprint CEO Gary Forsee. Though the companies will not build a network together, each are still building out smaller WiMax networks in limited metro areas..
