Come on now guy's you know Amp'd is not as bad as you guys are making it out to be. yeah you have a little bit of a wait time but so DOES EVERYONE ELSE. WE HAVE VERIZON'S NETWORK. so if you compare to everyone else, tmobile doesnt have the greatest coverage and neither does sprint AND metro. and if you talk about there customer service.... well lets compare
Tmobile- amazing customer service- horrible coverage
Sprint/nextel- broken up coverage and horrible customer serivce and your bill is F**ked up every month.
ATT/cingular- Bad customer service, good coverage, expensive plans.
Verizon- Decent customer service, THE BEST COVERAGE NATIONWIDE. ( you can't disagree)
AMP'D Mobile- Verizon's coverage plus extreme entertainment, slow customer ...

custmer service has gotten better in the last couple of weeks 😁 technical support moved to a different office.i've been through 3 moto 816s, something about the PRL number being too low. the phone has always been great, i was having trouble downloading content from Amp,d Live. technical would spend as much time as possible trying to fix the problem and when they couldn't figure it out they sent me a new phone under warrenty.if this new Hollywood has the same problem i'll try a Razr.
Coverage is good in my area, i'm in Southern California. my buddy has Amp'd and went to Texas last week. he said Amp'd TV worked perfect, no buffering.

yes they might be the same in price but they do not have the same coverage. Verizon works on CDMA metworks and Cingular work on GSM netowrks.Verizon has the best coverage here in america. but if you are looking to leave the states, cingular is the way to go.

i know verizon uses cdma1x and ev, and at&t uses 2g Gsm and 3g Gsm(umts/hsdpa) and im very happy with at&t and got coverage whereever im at. no company has 100% coverage, not even verizon, vzw does have roaming agreements w/ sprint, alltell and uscellular just to let you know and at&t has several roaming agreements with cellular one dobson and other gsm companies

NO crying here now that they filed chapter 11 and they owe everyone of their investors money, including best buy who is their number 1 seller. Not to mention wireless toyz dumped them. Won 't need to cry anymore as they will be done by the end of the year, port out now while you still can no need to sink with a wrecked ship.

Well at least amp'd doesn't charge 40 bucks a month for 250 minutes, and they ACTUALLY have a music/video service that's cheaper than Vcast while Cingular does not even have one yet.
