Amp'd Mobile Hybrid Plans

Can anyone who has an Amp'd Mobile Hybrid plan tell me how you like it or not? I have heard from plenty of people that Amp'd Hybrid plans have billing issues. Is that true?

ive got an ampd hollywood on a hybrid plan, love the fone, and love the service, hate the customer service, and hate the fact that ive had the fone over a month and it is still acting like a prepaid minute fone.......got dealer support and my ampd rep involved and they still havent got it fixed. hoping they fix it soon, cause im getting awfully tired of calling their "lack of customer service" department just to wait on hold forever, and then explaining that they havent fixed the account before they credit me some more minutes. are you having the same issues?

No. I don't have the same issues cause I don't have an amp'd mobile hybrid plan. I wanted one but I heard of all the problems. And i'm 17 and I am not legally able to sign a contract with amp'd and I don't want prepaid cause I can use more than they would offer me in a prepaid card so I wanted a Amp'd Hybrid plan. I was also about to go to college this year and wanted a Amp'd Mobile MOTO Q with amp'd hybrid service but I guess not now. I will probably keep sticking with my T-Mobile contract and get a T-Mobile DASH or the next smartphone/blackberry they will release.

i dont want u to totally rule out ampd hybrids. i sell ampd fones as well as own one and the hybrid accounts that are being set up more recently ARE WORKING FINE, for the most part, and like i said earlier the service is great just not the customer service. i can tell you that i definately like ampd more than helio, though its pretty much a toss up with exception of the streaming media department. ampd simply has more to chose from as far as that goes, compared to pretty much all other carriers. as far as the Q goes, it hasn't been released here yet and i don't think anywhere else in the country, at least not as a part of the standard lineup. I'm hearing from my reps that it is coming out this first quarter of 07, but the question is when......

The only sucky thing is that they will hang up on you if it's closing time or will refuse to help ya if closing time is near.

What made you think the Moto Q was out on AMP'd? Im also a seller of Amp'd and havent even heard rumors about it from New york down south. Especially since it just came out for Sprint and Verizon. So it probably wont get handed down to Amp'd for a little while now. I give people deals that are under 18 because im a 18yr old CEO and i think its important to understand college and all that isnt inexpensive. The last thing anyone needs to do is pay alot for a cell phone. Be that all as it may, i would ride out your contract with T-mobile Amp'd is still a baby company and compared to Sprints and other carriers commisions they pay hardly anything. Unless the store you go to raises there price hugely over Amp'ds website. I still cant believe most ...

hey robert..... according to my ampd rep the Q started being available as of yesterday march 27th in the detroit market.....and u can find pics of it at howard forums

pretty lame dude. i have the same phone, and same plan. three weeks ago it was a hassle to replenish your account, but so what? for $50 a month we get unlimited minutes, text and picture messaging, music, ringtones, wallpaper, services, subsciptions, and more. as of last week custmer service has taken a total of two minutes to answer the phone and load up my account. i hope they never fix the hybrid/pay-as-you-go issue. STOP CALLING TRYING TO GET THE PROBLEM FIXED! PLEASE. lol

I'm supposed to be on the Hybrid: End the Boredom plan w/ $7 nights. They keep screwing up and crediting me {and they overcredit me!!}. Not a bad deal!
