When I heard this I was SO excited!! Does this mean we canget out of our contract with Ampd?? Since they SUCK SUCK SUCK SUCK SUCK!!!!!!!

you are a very bitter bitter person that could use some help. why so much angure towards ampd, what did they ever do to you? my guess would be your credit is so bad that you couldn't get approved for service and it's there fault. as for getting out of a contract as long as they are in business you have to honor your contract or pay the early term fee....

you couldnt be more wrong Evil or Very Mad . i actually have perfect credit and have never faulted on a bill from ampd or anyone else. BUT-- to sum it up,, from the very beginning, ampd ported me the wrong number, then ampd sent my bills to New Jersey! (i'm in CA) then ampd TRIPLE charged me on my 2nd bill, admitted they were wrong, but never dropped the overcharge, stating that their billing and customer care dont communicate, so things take a while... 4 MONTHS later my bill was still at 500.00 due to these unremoved overages. then, they shut off my phone for not payment of charges they admitted i didnt owe them. Then they appologized AGAIN and turned my phone back on. Only to send me text messages twice a day that they were about to cancel my s...

sorry not buying all of your story...they can't port in the wrong # that would be a mistake on the dealers part not amp'd so don't blame them. they can only port what is given to them. as for the billing hell yes they have billing issues but what carrier doesn't? not that i have ever seen a carrier as bad as they are but still issues in billing are all over the industry. i have a friend that had auto pay with verizon and they took triple the money he owed one month and when he called them they told him to bad we don't do refunds we will just credit your account for the next 2 months. as for your credit i would guess you might have good credit but as we all know anyone who brags about how good there credit is or how much of this or that ...

i wasnt able to get a complaint to the BBB about them bc they are not on the site...howd u manage that...i cancelled and payed the ETF's for both my lines and they have still been sending me bills and threatening to terminate service...

I have tried in vain since day one to work with Ampd. My store sold aver 100 new accounts for them. Lefty, you dont know what you are talking about. They are the worst company I have ever dealt with in this industry. Check my profile, I deal with them all! And if they had a profile on the BBB nobody would have ever signed up. They sucked so bad its not funny. I, for one am happy to see them gone. If you wanna stick up for them, you must work for them, because nobody else is sticking up for them. Get A Clue.
