Anyone here actually have Tracfone?
I hada tracphone customer come in day before yesterday. Apparently he is paying 29.99 for 100 minutes. He wanted to know the cheapest plan I could offer. So I said for 29.99 you can get 300 minutes which is 200 more then what you have, he said no its ok...Puzzled as I am offering him something better, I then said net10 is a new service from tracphone which you can get 100 minutes which you pay 29..9 for u can get with net10 for 10 dollars. He thought about it for 10 seconds then said "naw, I will stick with trac." Some ppl just need to stay with prepaid...lol

I have ATT and an analog phone that will soon be out of support. I pay $30/mon for 250 min. They want a 2 yr contract for their minimum service at $40/mon. I don't use 100 min./mon. now. Which do you say is the better deal for me? Tracfone or ATT?
As long as Tracfone sells phones that use CDMA technology(Verizon, Alltel) I will most probably have one.
I carry one now because my contracted Sprint phone finds a lot of dead spots, whereas Tracfone does not. Once my Sprint contract is up, I'll be all Tracfone.
Expensive? If you buy and use the minutes in quantity, it is a dime per minute. The youngsters here hate Tracfone because the phones don't have music players, video players, and the other flashy doo dads. If all you want is a phone, it's not a bad deal, and it uses all the other networks' signals.
