Eh? OK, this is News. I'm ISO a replacement phone smashed by a jealous X that I originally purchased thru Net10. Went to a site that sells unlocked GSM phones (; they never responded to my e-mails asking about the transferability of SIM cards & Net10 phones, but after waiting a couple of weeks for any answer, when I did finally phone them asking about the ability to do that with Net10 (a subsidiary of TracFone, as I understand) they didn't have anything to say other than that if it was a GSM phone (it was a Motorola V176) I'd be able to simply switch the SIM card from one to the other. I want to make sure that if I buy a phone from them, it would work OK. (I'm sick of idiots wasting my time & don't need any additional hassle having to try to explain getting a RMA & fighting for a refund!) I still have time & an expiration date sometime early next year with Net10, so I'd like to be able to use the remainder, but didn't want to buy a "locked" phone from them. As was posted previously here, I also have never had worse CS from any company in my life! But that's another post... Any additional info on this incompatibility topic, or an intelligent alternative, would be most welcome! Thanks! PS - I have a charger & a couple of Li-Ion batteries available...
