Need info on Tracfone and Net10's use of AMPS and D-AMPS (TDMA)

I was wondering if anyone can point me to any announcement or information on Tracfone and their discontinuance of the use of AMPS and D-AMPS (TDMA).
Did they choose to end service with the shutdown of AT&T and Verizon's legacy networks?
Did they or do they use any other carrier's legacy networks, such as Alltel, since they are doing a phased shutdown, or US Cellular, since they are shutting down later in the year? Any other carriers?

Also, Does NET10 use just 2G wireless technology and newer? (Not that I've heard of any 3G NET10 or Tracfone phones.)

Thank you for your time and help.

Really interesting to see all those old phones. I looked them up and there was only 2 in the phonescoop database, v60 and v120.
