Pennsylvania Coverage Area

I want to buy a Motorola 176 from Tracfone. I live in Central PA. Union County to be specific. The coverage map posted on Tracfone's website contains an awful lot of white color indicating no coverage. Does anyone know how this phone works in Central PA or which carriers network Tracfone uses in this part of the country? How about a Pennsylvania coverage map?

Thanks.

The white areas on the map means that area is not part of the home area based on the zip code you searched on.

The phone will still work in the white areas, but it will cost 2 units per minute instead of 1 unit per minute

It depends on what you phone is. Some phones have a small coverage area, others have multiple states as a home area. I used to have tracfone, with one of the county local only phones.

Honestly, if you plan on using the phone for anything but an emergency phone, you'll want to look at some national carriers (post paid and prepaid) Even with prepaid, you can get a year of access for $100
