Using my own picture for wallpaper on i815

How in the world do I use a picture in "My Pictures" for wallpaper?! I have some pictures of my own that I sent to myself and I can view them on the phone. The factory-installed wallpapers are also in "My Pictures" along with my own pics, but in the wallpaper settings the only pictures listed are the factory-installed ones (none of which I like at all).

The crappy Nokia phone I had with Tracfone let me use my own pictures for wallpaper -- please tell me I can do the same with my i815.

I did. It doesn't even MENTION the ability. Hard to believe a crappy Nokia I had 5 years ago could do it.

Oh, and thanks for your non-help.

No problem. My other suggestion would be to go with a real wireless service company.

Actually Nextel provides the best network in the area I live in. I can hardly blame Nextel for Motorola purposely excluding a no-brainer feature just to get people to buy a USB cable.

Sure you can blame them. They decided to go with a technology that only Motorola produces for, with the exception of the Blackberries.
