The i930 is a high end piece of equipment that will work on a limited basis within the Boost system.
Yes, it will work fine as a Cellular and the DC will work but I have to be bluntly honest, we don't support a large majority of the extraordinary features the i930 have on the handset. I have had maybe half a dozen calls regarding troubleshooting issues on this handset and I have been unable to resolve any of them...this has an entirely different menu and the training for this handset is simply not availible for Boost rep's.
All of the phones except one has been assigned to the Nextel system and I have not been able to add the equipment to the account. Nextel does not offer this handset without a contract and 3 of the six were on the S list....go figure!!!
So to sum it up your wasting a tremendous resource by using this handset as a Boost phone, the Web browser won't even work properly. I have the same problem with "those who choose to pose" when they ask for help with the Blackberry they have slipped their Boost Sim into...can't access the web, won't send or receive Text, can't downld tones, etc, etc,etc...
Tis level of handset requires a Data package,not just a simple browser...I believe the i930 has a Microsoft Smartphone operating system on it with Microsoft outlook!!!!
Overkill in my opinion..if you can afford the cost of this handset you can afford a contract....considering the functionality of the loaded features against the service we offer at Boost you should get hold of either the i875 or Boost's i875...these handsets take you right to the edge of what Boost has to offer !
